Hanae can be translate as “small flower”. Graceful and delicate, the flax flower has inspired this collection. Ephemeral, it flowers for just a few hours, covering the fields with an unforgettable sight. It becomes linen fibres, harvested and treated before being woven in the Nord region of France. The expertise of Casamance during all these production stages results in a superb linen collection for walls. On the walls, the sky appears in elegant shades, scattered with shimmering radiance. The plants flourish with natural shades and give the feeling of a handembroidered wall.

The linen cloths welcome stylised plant embroideries, in kaleidoscopes of natural shades. The cotton satin is filled with a spectacular floral design. In 1950, the links between architecture, design and sculpture were strong. The artists reinvented a means of expression : the Good Design movement. Inspired by organic shapes, lines became curves, the curves themselves amazing and almost abstract. The designer George Nelson adopted this style. Perfect shapes are found throughout the collection and are drawn with subtle contours. They find their place on the rich velvets, the embroidered voiles and on the jacquards with their metallic highlights. A collection with assertive, graphic, timeless designs.
